I cannot see or hear any of our people who approved of these tortures without a feeling of intense loathing. I do not believe any information from these poor people have helped our cause, either in the short term, and certainly not in the long term.
We have lost whatever stature the US has had in morality. Getting Gonzales does not excuse the others, including our president and vice president. Their respresentatives in Congress should similarly be held in the contempt they deserve.
